The Ha Giang loop is not for the faint of heart. Three hundred kilometers of winding mountain roads, hairpin turns that seem physically impossible, and views that stop you mid-breath.
The Route
Starting from Ha Giang town, the loop takes you through some of northern Vietnam's most remote terrain. You pass through Yên Minh, climb toward Mèo Vạc, and snake along roads that cling to cliffsides with nothing but a low guardrail and your nerve between you and a very long fall.
