Colosseo e Foro Romano

I had already done the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the Vatican City in my last trip to Rome. Even so, I wanted to come back to a few of the places I'd already visited just for the experience of coming back to a place after so much time.

This was to be my last day in Rome, so it was great walking through on a sunny afternoon amongst the ruins, a few newlyweds, and many many tourists and scooters in the towering shadow of the Colosseum.

Rome was a great place to get into the groove of backpacking. Excited to start the next chapter.
