To me, Prague presented as a vibrant internationalized city with absolutely stunning architecture. Towering Gothic cathedrals and castle structures weave amongst the beautiful European rooftops and buildings.
I arrived after a four hour train ride from Vienna to the setting afternoon sunset and decided to run some errands while getting to know the city better.
Eventually the sunset turned into night time and I continued to take in the sights and vibrant nightlife of the city. Prague is known as a party destination at the moment in traveling circles. To me it didn’t have as much of an obvious siesta culture as Athens but I’m sure it’s because I wasn’t really looking hard enough.
It’s just a stunning place for photos, and it’s really kicked up the architecture a notch from what was present in Vienna – I’m sure a few Austrians would object to this but to me it just was on another level.
I’ve got a few activities planned here to see the sights and enjoy the world’s capital of beer drinkers – stay tuned to see how I go.
