Dark Light

Milan has a few ‘districts’ to visit which bring some colour to the city that other Italian cities don’t necessarily have. One that stood out is the Isola Design District because of how modern it looks.

Surrounded by old Italian architecture, this area emerges into skyscrapers and a small concrete piazza punctuated by the Biblioteca degli Alberi (Tree Library).

Underneath here there is a modern food court where I was able to choose from a very modern set of cuisine choices, rather than the usual pizza and pasta options.

I’ve lined up a few of the districts to visit here in Milan to visit which I’ll be doing while exploring the shopping and food options on offer here.
