The Prague Vyšehrad or ‘Upper Fort’ is a popular spot to visit just south of New Town and was on my list of landmarks to see.
Of course I had to take a scooter down there and I was enjoying the ride so much I blazed straight past the fort and kept going, realising I needed to turn around about a kilometer past.
In addition to the towering cathedral the fort complex has some beautiful views, a cemetery, cafe and some parks and playgrounds. Aside from a few groups of sightseers it was a fairly tranquil location.
After taking in the views I headed back on my scooter to Old Town for another scouting mission to find some good Czech craft beer and eats to see the day through. This was followed by a sunset walk over the Charles Bridge for some more night photos.
That’s a wrap for this little gitarella to Prague, I’m continuing the journey to a new destination next time.
