Vienna is an amazing cycling city – it’s first rate cycling infrastructure like I’ve never seen before. It’s probably one of the better ways to get around the city and so many people are riding past.
I therefore had to ride a bike and experience it for myself. It was a little too dangerous to be taking photos in the built up areas, but as I rode down to the Danube river some of the recreational cycling areas opened up to beautiful shots of the pathways and riverside.
I also did many moonlit walks through Vienna for food and just to explore. It’s got beautiful illuminated architecture at night, as long as you don’t stay out too late because everything closes by around 10pm at night.
It’s a livable city for sure – loving the return to cafe culture and good food – but I’m finding it difficult to plan a crazy adventure; so I’ll be moving on shortly to see what I can find.
